10/3/2010 - In words and Dreams: a movie to celebrate Palestinian Women

The Italian Cooperation Office in Jerusalem, in the framework of 8th March celebrations, delivered a short movie in order to celebrate Palestinian famale world. The video, directed by the gender advisor of the Italian Cooperation, Carla Pagano was shooted in the West Bank cities of Ramallah, Jerusalem, Jerico. 
4/3/2010 - Emergency Program for Gaza, 4 million Euros from Italian Cooperation

Green lights at the Emergency Program of Italian Cooperation for Gaza 2010, with a total budget of 4 million euros. The first 3 initiatives are delivered by Italian NGOs Terre Des Hommes, Gvc and ACS and aim at rehabilitate agriculture and water & sanitation infrastructures in Gaza.
10/3/2010 - Trainings and summer schools: an agreement with Palestinian Universities

Academic Memorandum of Understanding was signed 10th of February, between  Italian Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of 4 Italian and 7 Palestinian Universities. Training for Palestinian professors and students, summer school and training in communication are some of the activities scheduled in the memorandum set up by the University Cooperation Coordination Team of the Italian Cooperation. 
5/3/2010 - Palestinian Traditional Wedding Dresses, an Exhibition in Bethlehem

Couching, cross and satin stitches, patchwork style on indigo and other natural colours on cotton and satin: the art of embroidery,considered part of the Arab culture,  was shown at the 'Palestinian traditional dresses Exhibition'.
1/3/2010 - Experts panel on renewable energy in Palestine, first meeting in March

Renewable energy and bioarchitecure are a way towards an economic and political independence of Palestine. In order to launch this message, Italy held an international conference 19th November 2009, which will have a follow up in March 2010.
 
The first scientific Steering Committee of Italian and Palestinian experts in 'green energy', is going to be set up next month, focusing on projects for the building of green schools in the West Bank.
